For returning participants: Step 10 is where your joy becomes grounded, steady, and trustworthy. For Type 7s, this means noticing when you move away from discomfort, catching impulsive energy early, and returning to presence, honesty, and follow-through.
Gentle reminder: You do not lose freedom by staying present. Step 10 helps you discover a deeper freedom — one rooted in truth, responsibility, and connection.
1) Spot-Check in the Moment
Aim: Notice avoidance early and gently return to what is real.
- Watch: Notice when you distract, reframe too quickly, avoid discomfort, or jump to the next thing.
- Ask: “HP, please remove what blocks presence, honesty, and follow-through right now.”
- Admit & Repair: If you minimized harm, escaped a feeling, or avoided responsibility, own it simply and return.
- Help: Stay in the moment — what one honest next step can I take right now?
- Celebration cue: Every time you stay instead of escaping, you are growing in real freedom.
2) Signal • Stop • Swap Tool
Aim: Recognize when enthusiasm becomes avoidance and shift into grounded presence.

Aim: End the day with honest awareness and grounded gratitude.
- Did selfishness, dishonesty, resentment, or fear show up?
- Did I avoid discomfort, minimize something important, or fail to follow through? Did I apply a swap?
- Who might I owe an apology or living amends tomorrow?
- Where did I stay present, truthful, and grounded instead of escaping?

4) Step 10 Prayer — Type 7
“Higher Power, thank You for the gift of joy and possibility. When I move away from discomfort, distract myself, or lose focus, bring me gently back. Help me stay present, tell the truth, and follow through with love. Let my freedom be rooted in You, not in escape. Amen.”
