For returning participants: Step 10 is where your success becomes soulful. For Type 3s, it means noticing image-management early, releasing performance pressure, and choosing honesty, presence, and real connection in the moment.
Gentle reminder: Step 10 is not about proving you are doing recovery well. It is about becoming more real, more free, and more available to love each day.
1) Spot-Check in the Moment
Aim: Catch performance energy early and redirect it toward authenticity.
- Watch: Notice when you are shaping an image, pushing productivity, or disconnecting from what you really feel.
- Ask: “HP, please remove what blocks truth, humility, and real connection right now.”
- Admit & Repair: If you exaggerated, rushed, dismissed feelings, or became image-driven, own it quickly and simply.
- Help: Turn toward presence — what would honest connection look like in this moment?
- Celebration cue: Every time you choose authenticity over performance, you are living true success.
2) Signal • Stop • Swap Tool
Aim: Use your Step 10 lens to notice when striving is replacing presence.

Aim: End the day with honest, grounded reflection.
- Did selfishness, dishonesty, resentment, or fear show up?
- Did I perform, overwork, or hide behind an image? Did I apply a swap?
- Who might I owe an apology or living amends tomorrow?
- Where did I choose authenticity, vulnerability, or presence instead of performance?
Celebration cue: Honest review is how success becomes meaningful and deeply human.
4) Step 10 Prayer — Type 3
“Higher Power, thank You for the gifts of drive, energy, and purpose. When I slip into performance, image, or overdoing, please bring me back to truth. Help me live honestly, connect deeply, and let my worth rest in You — not in what I achieve. Guide me into real presence today. Amen.”
