For returning participants: Step 10 is where your love becomes clean, balanced, and deeply nourishing — for you and others. For Type 2s, this means noticing when helping becomes over-giving, catching subtle expectations, and returning to honest, grounded connection.
Gentle reminder: You are not here to earn love — you are here to live from it. Step 10 helps you stay aligned with that truth each day.
1) Spot-Check in the Moment
Aim: Notice when connection becomes overextension and gently return to balance.
- Watch: Notice when helping, fixing, or giving is driven by need, approval, or fear of disconnection.
- Ask: “HP, please remove what blocks honest love and balanced connection right now.”
- Admit & Repair: If you overstepped, over-gave, or created unspoken expectations, own it simply.
- Help: Turn inward — what do I need right now? Then respond from wholeness.
- Celebration cue: Each moment of honest self-awareness is love becoming more real and sustainable.
2) Signal • Stop • Swap Tool
Aim: Recognize when giving is coming from imbalance and gently shift.

- Did selfishness, dishonesty, resentment, or fear show up?
- Did I over-give, overextend, or expect something in return?
- Where might I need to make an apology or living amends?
- Where did I honor both myself and others in healthy connection?
Celebration cue: Each honest reflection strengthens your ability to love freely and wisely.
4) Step 10 Prayer — Type 2
“Higher Power, thank You for the love You have placed within me. Help me to give from wholeness, not from need. When I overreach or lose myself, gently guide me back. Teach me to receive as well as give, and to live in balanced, honest connection. Amen.”
Celebration cue: This prayer brings your love back into alignment — steady, free, and true.
