At Surrender School, we recover!

Our mission is to share 12-Step & other supportive recovery solutions with those wanting a healthy relationship with food.

Surrender School is a volunteer-run, donation-supported nonprofit community offering 12-Step-inspired support for people who want a healthier relationship with food. All of our meetings and workshops are fully virtual, held on Zoom, and free to attend. We welcome everyone — wherever you are on your recovery journey.

What We Believe

  • Connection is the antidote to addiction.
  • There is no one right way to work a program. You must find what works for you.
  • We all learn from each other — whether we are a newcomer, many years recovered, or in relapse. Wherever we are on the journey, we meet ourselves and each other with kindness.
  • Every mistake — food or otherwise — teaches us something.
  • Self-recrimination is never a path to growth. Shame does not work.
  • You belong here, exactly as you are.
