GOING DEEPER: TYPE 9 & STEP TEN


For returning participants: Step 10 is where your peace becomes awake and engaged. For Type 9s, this means noticing when you drift, numb out, or avoid conflict, and gently returning to presence, truth, and meaningful participation.

Gentle reminder: Your presence matters. Step 10 helps you stay awake to your life — with clarity, voice, and connection.


1) Spot-Check in the Moment

Aim: Notice disconnection early and return to presence.

  • Watch: Notice when you go numb, procrastinate, avoid tension, or go along instead of speaking up.
  • Ask: “HP, please remove what blocks presence, clarity, and honest participation right now.”
  • Admit & Repair: If you avoided, minimized, or failed to speak your truth, acknowledge it and re-engage.
  • Help: Take one small step forward — speak one truth, make one decision, take one action.
  • Celebration cue: Every time you show up and stay present, your life becomes more real and meaningful.

2) Signal • Stop • Swap Tool

Aim: Recognize when you are checking out and gently return to engagement.

3) Evening Review (3–5 minutes)

Aim: Reflect with clarity and gentle honesty.

  • Did selfishness, dishonesty, resentment, or fear show up?
  • Did I check out, avoid, or go along instead of engaging? Did I apply a swap?
  • Who might I owe an apology or living amends tomorrow?
  • Where did I stay present, speak up, or take meaningful action?

Celebration cue: Each honest review brings you more fully into your life.


4) Step 10 Prayer — Type 9

“Higher Power, thank You for the peace You have placed within me. When I drift, avoid, or lose my voice, gently bring me back. Help me stay present, speak truth with love, and participate fully in my life. Let my peace be alive, engaged, and connected. Amen.”

Celebration cue: This prayer awakens your natural peace into active, living presence.
